Hi! I’m Wassim
I'm a software engineer who became an engineering manager, and I lead the Payments team at Planning Center. Managing people isn't new to me. Managing engineers is what made me love it. Most of my energy goes toward helping the engineers around me get better at what they do.I write less code by hand than I used to, since AI tools have changed how we all build software, but I still build dev tools for fun. Outside of work, I cook, build things in my woodshop, and mess around with home automation and electronics. If you want to talk about development tools, engineering leadership, woodworking, or just brainstorm project ideas, I'd love to chat!
